What is the LiftLine?
The LiftLine is a week-long communication service between you and our editors. After submitting your essay and receiving our feedback, you have seven days to work with our editors via email to ensure complete understanding of our revisions. All emails are replied to within 24 hours, giving you ample time to tweak and update your draft. We’re committed to working with you until you’re convinced you have a first-rate essay, and if you need or want to submit an additional draft, EssayLift offers special discounted rates to returning customers.

What is your Partnership Guarantee?
The EssayLift Partnership Guarantee is a promise to work with you until you’re convinced you have a first-rate essay. The Partnership Guarantee is embedded into all of our services, as we view essay editing as a process and not a one-time encounter with an applicant. The Partnership Guarantee is also the basis for our LiftLine, as well as our discounted rates for returning customers.

What is your editing process like?
Our CompleteLift editing system is a nine-step revision process that evaluates every aspect of your writing.

What are the qualifications of your editors?
All of our editors are graduates of the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University widely considered to be one of the nation’s top three journalism schools, and hold years of professional writing and editing experience in highly-regarded newsrooms around the country. Our editors have demonstrated their command of both the Modern Language Association Handbook and Associated Press Stylebook and have been trained to emphasize conciseness, clarity and creativity while preserving and highlighting voice.

How soon will I receive feedback on my writing?
Standard evaluations are returned to applicants within 3 business days. Special 24- and 48-hour service is available as well.

Can I submit multiple essays at a time?
Yes, and the same editors will work on all of your essays to ensure cohesion and consistency. However, each essay will be charged as a separate editing package.

Do you edit other types of admissions essays?
No. EssayLift specializes only in undergraduate admission essays and does not offer graduate, business, medical, law or scholarship application essay editing services.

Does EssayLift guarantee admission into the college of my choice?
No. Although EssayLift strives to provide you with the best college application essay possible, we do not guarantee you will be admitted into a specific university.
